Biografie
- Antonetta Moerland
- resident of Alphen aan den Rijn (The Netherlands)
Antonetta is painting since 1980. She began in that year at the Center for Art Education "Expression 70" in Alphen aan den Rijn. There she studied drawing and painting lessons with different instructors such as Gerard Huysman during 5 years.
From 1985 t/m 1990 she worked on her own. The style in which she worked developed itself from naturalistic via surrealisme to abstract-esoteric.
In 1990 she was permitted to enter the Free Academy for Visual Art in The Hague. Here she worked for 2 years and her way of painting changed and started to come from an inner world.
The technique that she uses (acryl, oil paint, casein-tempera on masonite) gives the possibility of catching light into the painting; this is an objective.
