Artproject - Wallpainting - ANTONETTA MOERLAND

June 2002, a very special wallpainting was made in a beautiful historic house at Haarlem. In the former kitchen on two walls in the size 3.10 mtr and 2.70 mtr 12 paintings were made. Surrounded by original historical tiles with old Delftsblue tiles over the whole size of both walls paintings were made showing 3 of the 4 elements namely earth, sky and water.This by order of the owner of the house.

All the paintings were connected with eachother via the lines of the elements. This was done in a very free manner so you can see that sometimes the water is visable in the sky. The colour that is used is white, blue and grey. All the 12 paintings are connected to eachother and this gives the diningroom a very special atmosphere.
